Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
Bit weird that Wilder has let the obligation expire. All points to him running scared from Fury.

It won't be a 1 punch stoppage of Chisora, it will be an accumulation of punches without response which will stop chisora.

Watch Usyk vs Joe Joyce in the amateurs to see how he deals with heavyweights then watch Fury vs Chisora for an idea of how Chisora copes with a good mover, Usyk will just do it faster.

Usyk v Fury is the tricky one to predict as Fury has the movement, size and is now proven and despite being considered "pillow-fisted" his whole career, monstered the hardest hitting MoFo on Earth in Wilder.

Can't see Wilder giving up the belt and cash with a Fury rematch and maybe the agents are waiting to see if the crowds will come back before going ahead, otherwise he's back to square one to rebuild to a title challenge that might never come.

Cant see Uysk having the power to stop Chisora.

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
Chisora is awkward with his constant pressuring style and Usyk if there's a flaw in his game is that he can be a slow starter to work opponents out.

Usyk in the 8th for me.

"Don't think it'll be as easy as people are making out."

Usyk ain't just some no mark cruiser-weight boxer moving up whose never been in the ring with a heavyweight before he been in with the best and outclassed them in every way, just go over his World Super Series wins in every Champions back yard, Chisora hasn't got the remotest hope in Hell.

Looking forward to the Chisora vs Uysk fight.

Don't think it'll be as easy as people are making out.

So if Fury wants to fight in December, who will be his opponent if AJ keeps his date with Pulev ? Whyte has Povetkin to tackle again. Is Usyk due to fight anyone soon ?

Israel Vazquez v Rafael Marquez is the best trilogy you will ever witness.

number 4 was a bit of a let down.

Pacquiao v JMM was a pretty spectacular trilogy as well.

Havent read nothing on that either mate? To be fair all the press I’ve read has been from fury’s camp. Which is a bit weird in itself.

J son, hasn't he just had an op on an injury too?

Block. He is a professional boxer who knew the fight was coming. In fact insisted on the clause. He should be practically ready now (wasn’t the original date about now?). Adding a new trainer for the last two months of your training camp to hone skills and tactics is no excuse. To be honest I haven’t seen him use that as an excuse either, just that he keeps trying to push the date back.

Was Ward vs Gatti a trilogy?

Brain has gone to shit this morning.

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
You had the Barrera vs Morales trilogy around about the same time as the Ward vs Gatti fights.

For me, it's difficult to split those trilogies. What a time it was to be a boxing fan.

both of those were 1-1 after 2, were matched opponents and leading to some of the all time best ever boxing matches.

the point stands- 3 wilder Fury fights is taking the piss. No one is interested

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
He's just split from his trainer, there's not much time between now and December, he's made the right decision.

Wouldn't say he's running scared, more so he wants to be prepared properly.

The 3 Ward vs Gatti fights weren't too shabby either.

Ali v Frasier III wasn't bad.
